What is Motability?

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to lease a new Fiat car every 3 years by exchanging their weekly mobility allowance to run the vehicle. You may be eligible if you receive either the following:

  • The Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
  • Enhanced Rate of Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
  • The War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

In exchange for that mobility allowance, all Fiat Motability vehicles receive a new car every three years plus:

  • Fully comprehensive insurance from RSA Motability (RSAM)
  • Full Servicing, maintenance and repair
  • Two named drivers
  • Breakdown assistance (from RAC)
  • Plus adaptations, if needed, with many at no extra cost
